Workshops

Acknowledging the need and importance of in-service training, Art of Learning facilitates workshops for teachers and schools, our primary clients. Majority of 21st century teachers were trained in the previous century, therefore need to constantly unlearn, learn and evolve in order to be relevant in a 21st century classroom teaching dynamic and complex 21st century students. As such, our workshops are customized to the meet the specific requirements of our client schools and are planned after discussions with the school’s management/administration.

Our workshop format and materials are research based and successfully tested in different schools across Asia and North America, following both national and international curriculums. After the completion of a workshop, our clients have access to our library of online teaching resources and materials which complements the resources made available to them during the workshop. We also provide in-class support to teachers after the workshop#, a feature that is distinctive to workshops conducted by us.

Our workshops incorporate an interactive mix of instructional and experiential strategies designed to facilitate quick grasp and understanding of 21st century teaching learning methodologies, within the existing classroom realities. At the same time, in our workshops we honour and celebrate the richness of experience and enthusiasm that the most teachers bring to their classrooms.

As Alvin Toffler rightly put, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn”
