Maple Crest Private School (MCPS)

MCPS is a private school following International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, the first and the only in the largely Italian city of Vaughan, Ontario (Canada).

MCPS provides safe and collaborative environment to create authentic learning experiences and global interactions for children 3-12 years old. The school entrusts learning of the children to a team of qualified and dedicated personnel. MCPS strives for holistic development of their children, and towards this goal has built strong and meaningful connections with the parents and the community at large to provide learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

Shannon J. Holden

Shanon has a career spanning over 20 years as an educator, administrator and coach to new and struggling teachers. Based in USA, Shannon is currently an administrator at a Middle School in Missouri, and also an adjunct instructor for Lindenwood University and Missouri State University. Shannon is an authority over nuances of effective teaching and learning in the K-12 schools. He is passionate about integration of technology into the classroom lessons, with the use of free internet-based resources.

Besides his face-to-face sessions in different parts of US Midwest, Shanon conducts monthly webinars to coach and guide new teachers in classroom dynamics and practices, dealing with challenging students and parents, etc.
